Will the bare Sharkskin rubber irritate the athlete's skin?
No. The Sharkskin pattern is highly textured but physically soft. Skin irritation is actually caused by movement. When a loose sleeve slides up and down the leg, the friction causes severe chafing. Because Sharkskin locks the sleeve firmly in place, it stops the friction. It actually prevents skin irritation.
Can we put Sharkskin only at the top and bottom hems of the sleeve?
Yes. This is a very smart and popular design. You can use standard fabric for the main interior of the sleeve to keep it easy to put on.
