Perforation is the process of punching holes through the neoprene sponge.

But punching holes means removing rubber. When you remove rubber, the material loses "Tensile Strength." Tensile strength is the ability to stretch without tearing.

Cheap factories use basic, outdated punching machines. They punch large holes too close together. The rubber loses 40% to 50% of its strength. It tears like wet paper.

To fix this, you need precision engineering.

We use computer-controlled micro-perforation. We punch very tiny holes. We calculate the exact mathematical distance needed between each hole.

Embossed Neoprene: Balancing 3D Texture and Waterproofing

Embossing is the process of stamping a 3D pattern directly into the rubber.

Q1: Can you perforate the rubber and leave the outer fabric solid?
Yes. This is a very advanced technique. We punch the holes in the raw rubber core first. Then, we use a special dot-glue method to laminate a breathable, solid fabric on the outside. The sweat goes through the holes and passes through the fabric, but the product looks smooth on the outside.

Q2: What is the best embossed pattern for maximum anti-slip grip?
The "Shark Skin" and "Diamond" patterns are the absolute best for creating friction. We use these patterns heavily for surfboard knee pads, diving boot soles, and weightlifting accessories.

Q3: Does embossing make the neoprene stiffer?
